What are bully sticks made of?

Bully sticks are made from beef muscle, specifically the pizzle, which is a single-ingredient protein source.

Do bully sticks have any nutritional value?

Yes, bully sticks are a good source of protein and can also provide some minerals and vitamins.

Can bully sticks help with dental hygiene?

Yes, chewing on bully sticks can help scrape away plaque and tartar buildup, promoting better dental hygiene for your dog.

Can I give bully sticks to my puppy?

Yes, but it is important to supervise your puppy while they are chewing and to choose a size appropriate for their age and weight. It is also a good idea to introduce new foods slowly to avoid digestive upset.

 

Safety and Longevity

Are bully sticks safe?

Bully sticks are 100% digestible and a safe dog chew made from a single ingredient - beef. Sourced from the US and Canada, they are oven-baked to eliminate bacteria and contain no chemicals or preservatives. Unlike rawhide or antlers, they do not pose a risk of breaking into sharp pieces. However, as with any treat, ensure your dog has access to water and monitor chewing to prevent swallowing large pieces.

How long do bully sticks last?

The shelf life of our bully sticks is guaranteed to be at least one year, ensuring that you always receive a fresh and high-quality product.

When should I give my dog a bully stick?

Bully sticks are a convenient and rewarding way to keep your dog entertained. We recommend you limit giving your dog bully sticks to 3-4 times a week, unless you are removing the bully stick before it is completely consumed. One 12-inch bully stick can often last through 2 or 3 chew sessions, depending on your dog's chew capability.

How should i store my dog's bully stick for the next chew time?

In between chew sessions with the same bully stick, simply let the bully stick air dry and then store in a cool, dry place where your dog can't reach it. This storage technique also applies to unchewed bully sticks. We do not recommend refrigeration and be sure to wash your hands after handling the bully stick between chews.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to Canada and the United States. However, we hope to expand internationally in the future. For inquiries about our products, please contact us at matilda@matildaschoice.com.

What carrier will be used to deliver my bully sticks?

We use standard tracked shipping offered by Canada Post and UPS. 

How long will it take for my package to arrive from purchase?

Once an order is made, it takes 2 days to fulfill your order and ship.  Delivery speed with the carrier [Canada Post or UPS] can be between 2 - 9 business days depending on delivery location.

How do I request a return or replacement?

Please email us at matilda@matildaschoice.com in advance if you wish to send back your purchase, or if you have an issue with your delivered goods.

How many days do I have to return a product?

We will accept returns of the product in it's unused state and in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery.

Do I need to pay for return shipping?

Yes, the customer is responsible for return shipping charges. Unless the product is defective or damaged, we will cover any return shipping costs. Get in touch at matilda@matildaschoice.com and we'll work something out for you.
